Do you think analysts are unproductive at work?
Just wondering what people's experiences are with this - obviously IB has a hellish rep for hours (which may or may not be fair in some cases) but to what extent do you guys think that could be improved without the procrastinating?
Is a lack of productivity actually a factor in determining what your work life balance will look like in the early years?
You're either working late because your incapable or they will give you more work because you're one of the few capable. Bottom line: you will always make long hours.
This is actually extremely true. You either get faster / more efficient or you never leave.
