I love what we do. We play a vital role in our nation’s economy. I love the title “banker”. I’m proud to be a part of an industry that’s as old as human civilization. I’m proud to work at a global institution. Yet all I see on this site is people talking nonstop shit about banking and how it’s pointless and we’re paid too much and blah blah blah. I fucking love what we do and can’t imagine myself doing anything else.

I think one thing that often gets ignored and forgotten on this forum is that two analyst can have extremely different experiences in banking based on team, firm, location, industry, the overall market, etc.
