Short answer is yes, but it's super case by case and will totally depend on your conversation with HR. Your reason for doing so will certainly play a factor in their decision but so will current staffing needs and assessing whether the business actually could use another head.

Yes they do. Just bring it up when you receive the return offer. This year's early start date is in Feb.

I started in June, whereas the rest of my class started in September (Covid). Rest of class was being paid a full time salary from June to September, while not working (Covid). I was working during this time which was great from a learning standpoint, but I received the same exact fixed stub as everyone else while working 3 extra months + my colleagues making money during that time frame and not working.

It's only 3 months so not a big deal at all in the grand scheme of things, but it became very clear how JPM views their employees. My friend had the exact same situation occur for them as well.

Yes, just ask HR but they will usually welcome another body to absorb staffings

That said I kinda agree with the above - unless you need to start immediately bc of visa/income needs, don't do it. Travel abroad, get some fun job doing something cool like bartending abroad or working on a yacht for 3 months. You will hate your life soon enough, spend your last few free months doing something cool
