Does Wharton take a third of the analyst spots

So there’s approximately 1000 analyst positions in top boutique/ BB across the US. If Wharton has 500 students a class and say 350 of those go into analyst positions, are they really taking a third of those positions? That’s crazy

Wharton kid here - we do not take up 1/3 of the analyst positions. Believe it or not, not all Wharton kids go to the top boutiques and BBs....

I went there. I think IB gets kind of memed as the overly trodden path, and with the more liberal mindset of colleges nowadays + Penn kids wanting to not be associated with Trump / "evil" capitalism, a lot more kids are trending torwards social impact / entrepreneurship / consulting, etc. rather than traditional finance roles.
