Will doing a trading (prop shop for instance) or consulting internship after sophomore year/junior year screw you for IB FT or SA recruitment? Seems like a dumb question, but I'm still trying to research in depth to see which I would like to "aim" for, and I'm wondering if it would be detrimental if I did an internship that was within one of these industries, but ended up not being what I wanted to do. Would the brand name/experience still look good on an resume, even in a different industry?
