The first one are a little large. I've seen many similar thick black frames, I have a pair myself, but those are bordering on comically large. The second would just get you laughed out of the office. I have a pair of tortoise shell prescription glasses as well as in standard RayBans ... that second one is not office appropriate.
Y'know, the first pair kinda looks like what the Marines refer to as "Birth Control Glasses"...
