dropping major after offer
hi, i just secured an sa offer at an eb in their tech group. I'm currently a computer science and econ major, but I want to graduate as soon as possible, so I'm thinking of dropping the econ major (not sure if i want to stay in finance forever and cs is more employable/useful imo). Would this be okay with hr? When/how should I go about making sure of this?
Kill the internship, get a return offer. That’s all that matters at this point. Different story for buyside recruiting but at the end of the day these banks don’t have time to review intern offers over every change of majors nor do they care enough to do so.
so ur saying its okay to drop the major? also wdym different story for buyside recruiting?
hi did it make a diff if u dropped the second major? in a similar situation rn
Was in similar situation while back - didn’t drop major bc never got clear answer - bump.
my situation is im still double majoring but changing my second one to smthing else, kinda related to the one it is now but worded differently on paper
Wolfe?
I switched to business admin after I got my GS TMT offer and they pulled it
this has to be a joke right?
