Ducera Partners - Los Angeles Office Info

Anybody know anything about Ducera's LA office? Heard they've been growing headcount alot recently and have poached a few bankers from Houlihan Rx LA. Supposedly also done some legit deals out of there (Hertz?). Any info would be much appreciated!

Based on quick LinkedIn search, looks like they've hired four guys from the HL Rx office (supposedly HL RX LA having a ton of turnover, not what it used to be). One of my buddies knows an associate there - sounds like he for sure works hard but comp is supposedly top of street and very good culture (supposedly have a trading-style bullpen which is pretty cool IMO)

Have a friend there, would echo the above. Great pay but they get worked hard.

Interacted with some Ducera bankers.. they seemed pretty burnt out and miserable, speaks to the culture of the office.

I know a couple of the folks there; largely ex. HL/PWP team (typical for Ducera). One Goldman guy. Seems like a legit operation and they are expanding. From what I've heard, LA has different culture than NY, but similar flow. Second hand info, so YMMV...

High profile deals, in growth mode, and seems to be a young team, so advancement opportunities probably pretty good. Just confirmed with my contact that the high comp. rumors are largely accurate.

Edit: added some more details
