If I get a piercing as a male before my summer IBD stint, but remove them throughout the internship, how would people view this? Specifically, my concern is the small holes that would be visible when I take them out.

Lmaoooo the hardos in this thread. I had a beard throughout my interviews and I don’t think it affected me (received offers from MBB, T2 Consulting, and MM banks). I also have pierced ears currently in my FT job and no one ever brought it up. I actually forgot to take them out one Monday and all that happened was that my boss told me to take them out before we talk to the client. Obviously be professional, but no one cares if you have a piercing hole in your ear.
Who pays that much attention to their coworkers ear lobes. Dont think there’ll be a major issue with this.
What's with the boomers on this site. Assuming not gauges, but like regular holes for diamond studs or something. It's fine no one cares. If anything, I'd find you a lot more interesting than the same old cookie cutter hardos or daddy's boy golfing frat kid.
