ECM Internship Prep Advice

Starting an internship at a London EB in June, on the ECM product team. I have an idea what to be focusing on, but just wondering does anyone who works in an ECM product group or who previously done an internship have any advice that they could give an incoming summer analyst to help me prepare as well as I can?

Thanks in advance.

Well, you’re gonna learn it all on the job. But it would be helpful to understand the basics so you don’t have to ask the basic questions. So know the FO, IPO process in depth.

Also, look into SEC filings of recent IPOs and get familiar with the info in there. It would be helpful, but not necessary, to learn about the details of recent IPOs, FOs. Maybe also trends of the market.
