Economy/Fed Review

Hey guys I'm heading into my SA stint in a few days, and I was wondering if anyone had any links to good macroeconomic synopses about Fed policy right now. Also, anything regarding interest rates and what they mean would be especially helpful. Thanks!!!

http://www.federalreserve.gov/monetarypolicy/mpr_default.htm Start here. This is from the Fed itself.

http://www.dallasfed.org/assets/documents/institute/wpapers/2012/0126.p… Another decent white paper.

What I would do, is search for White papers from the New York Fed, Kansas City Fed, Dallas Fed... you get the picture and read through them to get a decent understanding of what current fed policy is. There are some good ones floating out there, searching around will find them pretty quickly.

I might be missing something, but what do you mean regarding interest rates? If you aren't familiar with what they are and how they function I would probably stay away from the stuff I sent above.
