Elite boutique recruiting at MIT Sloan (post-mba)

Hey Guys,

How hard is it for someone at MIT (MBA) to get into an elite boutique such as Centerview Partners, Greenhill, Evercore, Moelis, etc.

Do they recruit on campus, or should I just apply online. There aren't any MIT Sloan guys in there, as far as I know. Is it acceptable to network with people who went to MIT undergrad?

85% MIT, 15% postponing MBA one year

Getting cold feet of leaving everything behind (family and job). Mostly my family. They moved to where I live so that we could live all together in one country (hadn't seen my family in years). Now after just 2 years I am leaving them again. They would most probably go back to Canada or even the States in 2 or 3 more years so they understand that an MBA from somewhere like MIT would give me a lot of mobility to follow them.

So I am trying to figure out what to do and take an informed decision. With the Basel III regulation I think I should seriously consider Boutiques and it seems at MIT they don't recruit.
