Email not allowed/blocked?

Hello,

Got this message when emailing analyst:

"Your message couldn't be delivered because you don't have permission to send to this recipient. Ask the recipient's email admin to grant you permission and then try again."

Yet, when emailing an associate of the same firm (EB), the email went through.

When emailing another firm, I got this message:

"(ANALYST AT X BANK) only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list, and your email address isn't on the list."

What does this mean? Thanks

If you're using a gmail to email someone within a bank or professional organization sometimes it will flag your emails as spam and not allow them to be delivered. It's just a part of the spam software that outlook uses to protect the firm, and it's really hit or miss (sometimes it will go through, sometimes it will get blocked). Would suggest emailing with a microsoft outlook account (for instance, if you have one for school)

Sometimes analysts in the middle of executing a highly confidential deal get put on a restricted list, with all emails not from someone on the WGL filtered out. Could be this too.

If you're using a company email to email X person within a bank or professional-org and the most likely scenario was that their email service flagged your emails as spam.

What you can do instead is to call them if that doesn't work either ask your companies I.T guy.
