Feel like this needs to be clarified (I work at Wells) - they basically just said the earliest we will be returning is September, not that we will be returning in September. Previously they had been extending WFH month-by-month, up until yesterday they were saying the earliest we would return was May 1st. This time, instead of extending 1 more month, they just extended it by 6 months to make it easier for people to make plans/reduce the burden for monthly updates. Obviously the expectation is that things will be closer to normal by then, but I feel like the announcement has been taken slightly out of context - it's entirely possible we do not return in September if things don't substantially improve by then.
