European IBD Assessment Centre Thank you note: LinkedIn or Email?

Hi all,

I have an upcoming AC at a US BB for a Summer Internship in their London office, I read many threads on thank you notes, but they are all tailored to a US audience where contacting people by email is the norm.

How do you handle thank you notes in EU? Since AC is virtual I won't get business cards, is LinkedIn okay? If I were an ED/VP/MD I would find it creepy if people figured out my email just to send a thank you note, since no one in EU does networking via cold emailing.

What do you think?

it's not going to get you a job or get you dinged anyways, so wouldn't overthink this.

The decision is made fairly shortly after your interview as your interviewers fill in the feedback forms and then meet up for a discussion at the very end of AC to decide.

Obviously not saying you shouldn't send a thank you (it's still a very nice thing to do!), just wouldn't stress about it too much:)
