Run by one partner who came over from GS 3-4 years ago. Less a group and more a team in that way. However, the partner is great and on a ton of major transactions (Many major Spin-off / split-off / separations). In an industry group and have worked with his team a bit. The partner took the time to hold a call with junior team (associate and analyst) to debrief them and compliment their work. Think likely a very nice spot with a great team.

M&A although not traditional M&A experience. Focused on spin offs / split offs / breakups working with EVR’s industry groups (also called M&A groups).

Do you mind sharing some of the transactions the group has worked on? What skillsets / technicals is deemed important within the group?

Joe Todd is a legend. You get to get into the weeds of transactional structuring and work on a lot of cool stuff such as IFF & DuPont RMT and GE split-off. The team is really small so don’t have many datapoints for exit

what skillsets / technicals do you think is important for the group? are there any other transactions the group has done in the past?

Bump. How are the PE exits from this group? Better or worse compared to the regular M&A and RX groups at Evercore?

Doesn't matter that much -- EVR name will bring you interviews and the rest is up to yourself
