EVERCORE HOUSTON OFFERS OUT

Just had my evercore superday for the houston office. I am juggling an offer between that and KKR new york and their special sits division. EVR pays higher, but KKR has a great name and people. Any insight on what to choose? P.S. I come from a top target (HWYPS).

KKR special sits pays very little and I need $ to pay off student debts and buy my grandma a range rover. Although I'm interested in special situations, I feel like I should just tough out a couple years in oil even though I would literally have to tell my radical environmentalist girlfriend that I'm doing solar energy banking in Houston. Sigh.

I will pay off your students debts and buy your grandma a ranger rover if you let me lateral into your KKR position
