Assume this is RECA not REIB for Evercore, they disbanded the whole RE IB team in London, some were given option to move to RECA, some were not.

Very interesting - so there is no more RE M&A at EVR? Seen pretty good exits from the REIB team in the past, how does RECA compare?
They do RE IB as well but also a lot of secondaries stuff, not sure what the split is now

No insights at all for RE IB there but no EB can be competitive in this space. If you want to be in RE then need to look at balance sheet banks
the team just poached a gs partner, any insights?
Evercore states that the group is a top growth priority area of the firm, probs willing to invest/poach grow the team a lot
