Evolution of IB, High Finance

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to ask a quick question, Im in a stem undergrad ( think mathematics heavy ) and after this I will be pursuing a pre experience masters program in finance so that I can transition into IB, obviously in one of the targets in Europe/UK/USA.

I am basically making a bet that IB wont be how it is now and for the past decade in the future post 2030. I want to know from current guys out there on the street, even the seasoned guys, Towards which direction is the industry headed to and to what level are the banks expecting analysts to know about technology. Will the jobs post 2030 be a hybrid where you not only just do modeling and spreadsheets but also know some tech etc.

would really appreciate some guidance on this.

Thanks in advance.
