Alt+Tab allows you to switch between most recent programs. Is there something similar that allows you to switch among worksheets in excel? Thanks.

Ctrl + PgUp and Ctrl + PgDn switches worksheets in an excel workbook. Switching between different excel docs use the Ctrl + Tab.
My only complaint with using Ctrl + Tab when switching between various open excel files is that you don't get to select from an overview of your open excel files (i.e., the function just cycles through open excel files) as you would when using Alt + Tab.
However, if you've only got two excel files open Ctrl + Tab is a very useful shortcut.
to make sure you get fast and be super anal, make sure you are
You've got it all wrong. It's all about using the left thumb on the left control with your left middle finger on the left tab.
Heh, this made me laugh. How very true. Although, having spent part of my analyst program in Lotus 1-2-3 instead of Excel, I can say that to this day I still copy and paste with Cntrl-INS and Shift-INS so as not to accidentally trigger a macro that someone may have (sloppily) bound to the Cntrl-C or Cntrl-V keys.
I use my left pinky for the control key and my right ring finger for toggling. This way my left hand never falls out of rest position and my right hand is minimal distance away.
Who uses thumbs for anything other than the space bar? Strange.
You silly touch typists. I'm old school. I never learned to type right. My technique has been ridiculed by my junior bankers as "incredibly fast hunt and peck".
So I use my thumb for a almost all the right control functions, including cntrl-tab and cntrl-INS. Nowadays if I want something faster I just yell louder.
"Nowadays if I want it to go faster I just yell louder."
Touche. That's hilarious.
Anyone have experience using the "geomean" formula in excel? I keep getting different values when using the formula compared to manually calculating it
