Excel to PowerPoint Toggle Chart

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some help ASAP. I have a data set currently in Excel and I am looking to chart this in PowerPoint. Currently I have a set of variables that I am toggling through and am looking to set up a similar format in PowerPoint that I have set up in Excel. Is this functionality available?

For example, I would like to be able to toggle through Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 and have the chart update with the requisite data.

Quick note: we build our charts in PowerPoint instead of copying the link over from Excel.

Any advise is appreciated and the sooner the better... Thank you in advance!

On a slide can't you just create a chart, then when the excel document opens up for the data, just paste your data in there and then use the animations in order to toggle?

Not sure if a pivot chart is possible in Powerpoint, but why don't you just make 4 different slides? When you print a deck, you won't be able to toggle charts anyways.

Not really how powerpoint is built... You could link the chart in powerpoint to an excel document. then (assuming you are on the computer with the original excel file and the link is in tact), toggle the model in excel and update the chart in PPT.

Not sure if that's helpful, as you build you charts in PPT (not rly sure why you would do that honestly...?)
