Exit Date Dilemma

Leaving for PE later this summer - my bank basically lets you pick 1 of 2 dates (one about a month earlier than the other) as your official “last day”.

If you pick the earlier date you get a prorated amount of your bonus that you would have received.

All in, post-tax difference is ~$10-12k (foregone salary + bonus).

I don’t really have a desire for any crazy travel plans (at least none that I can’t fit in even if I chose the later date).

Am I crazy to want to pick the later date - basically choosing $10k vs an extra month of time off?
