Exit Opportunity by Location
Current 2nd year recruiting for IB. In the interview process for several firms and would love to hear people's opinions. What would PE/HF exits look like Lazard's Chicago office vs Guggenheim/Rothschild's NY office? Obviously Lazard is more prestigious, but would it be possible to go from Lazard's Chicago office to a PE/HF NY role, and if so, would placement be better or worse than Guggenheim/Rothschild NY.
