Exit Opps for Latin America Group at BB

I was wondering what the exit opportunities were like for LATAM???? Specifically working at one of these... CS/Citi/JPM

I have been told the team deals with mostly M&A some equity/debt

Is there the same level of movement to PE as in other industry groups at BB or are most pigeonholed in LATAM related positions.

What is the perception of LATAM from other IBD groups??? What's your view?

Would you take a Jefferies analyst position over a BB Latam analyst position?

Additionally (with keeping the above article in mind), I think that would be an amazing way to spend your time as an analyst. I think global experience is really underplayed on this site (for obvious reasons). You will probably not have the best PE exit ops available or blockbuster deals; but also keep in mind that you will do the same type of work as NYC analysts & have a BB brand on your resume. Some pros are that it will look great on a HBS application, I've been told that the hours aren't as bad in LATAM, & the women are only second to Austin.
