Experience / clout vs. comp

Hey monkeys, I am a senior at public school studying engineering (UCLA, UVa, UMich) and I am interning at top BB (GS/ MS/ JPM). I am interested in a career in traditional investing or socially responsible investing. Currently considering a lateral to EB (EVR/PJT/Centerview) for compensation reasons. Would love to hear your thoughts on making a transition like that. I want to get a good experience, good name, and feel like I might as well make a lot of money if I'm sacrificing 2-4 of my early 20s. Thoughts?
