Do all the BBs such as GS/MS/JP/BofA/Citi... use Factset for comps (excel plug in) or is there any bank from this list that uses Bloomberg / Eikon / CapIQ?
Is it the same for banks such as Nomura / HSBC / BNP?
And if there is any bank using the other providers, is there any particular reason or is it price the main issue? @French Hardo" @Pan European Monkey"

FactSet seems to be more popular in ER. I used Bloomberg in banking and very rarely CapIQ. I used FactSet daily in ER with Bloomberg only occasionally.
We use factset for comps and additionally SNL (CapIQ specific tool) for O&G data at IB M&A
Barely no use of BBG, sometimes for some specific data but factset provides us mostly everything we need
I have used Factset at 2 of those BBs thst you have mentioned, have never touched Bloomberg tho

Worked at 2 BBs and both have used factset. BBG is often only used by CapMarkets and there is 1-2 BBG terminal shared per floor.
