Failed series 79 by 1 question
Such a bad beat. Passed SIE and 63 easily earlier this month and if I got one more question right on the 79 I would have passed.

Worried that this is gonna happen to me as well lmao
Yeah you should tell your RM the exact same thing
If you don’t pass they tell you your score right away. If you pass it just says “pass”
Sorry to hear bro. All you can do is try again but try to look on the bright side; if you have 30 days to study and you were so close - you should feel confident about passing next time if you don’t slack off
That’s true, I guess I didn’t think about it like this
I think the tests are significantly harder now and they’re just not telling people
Before you retake make sure you score 85%+ on the practice tests in every topic.
That test was so difficult for me. I was expecting to fail when I hit submit, but ended up passing. I have a conspiracy theory that my prep company pays FINRA off to pass it’s students because I felt as if I had no business passing.
OP here. I passed the second time.
Just grinded out 1000 practice questions and I was solid
I just failed lmao, how does it impact your rep at work if you failed first time
Not end of world but you'll be "that guy" for a good minute if the rest of your class passes. Always that one person every now and then who doesn't pass. Just study up and pass ASAP. Everyone will forget and make a joke about it 3 months into the job. Just get your fork out now and be ready to eat it. If anything your group manager will be pissed because more paperwork for them / this is the only thing they can judge you by. JPM not happy. Get it together son.
Nobody even knew tbh only my staffer was aware and he didn’t give a shit. I also got top bucket this past weeks so it clearly didn’t matter
