My family has plan to go visit my grandparents for there 80th birthday over July, would it be acceptable to ask for a Friday off ? Should I try and work remote (not sure if this is acceptable at my bank).
Not sure how taking a 1-2 day break if only once during internship is seen.

Tbh, wouldn’t risk it. You have 10 weeks to fully commit and at the end of it all, they might be picking at straws for return offers
If you think about it, it’s really just eight weeks. First week is always training. And by the end of the ninth week, you’ll know if you have a return offer or not.
