Which school in the metropolitan area do you attend. And please understand that FBR is not exactly a popular choice for folks here on WSO, because if you haven't realized by now DC is very poor for IB, unless you like Aerospace and Defense i.e.. Jefferies Quarterdeck

I am new to the forum and came across this thread. I go to school in dc area and had a similar question regarding FBR. Apparently from fbr website it seems the firm has changed a lot recently- hired senior bankers from lb/bear and is expanding into new products - focusing more on dcm, restructuring...but not sure hows the analyst experience at the firm. ....any insiders on the forum..kindly share some insights

any information regarding the firm work exp, exit opp or comp structure..hows the firm considered to be against other prominent MM peers such as piper jaffray, hw, hlz. is it discounted well below wall street?

FBR does exactly speak volumes on wall street. I go to school in the DC are and honestly FBR is my last resort

anyone heard back?

Other than private placements they aren't doing much. I've been warned away from the firm by a few analysts there.
