Currently a senior associate at B4 FDD with an offer in hand for a portfolio analyst role at a mid market private credit shop. I’d effectively be resetting my tenure/rank but want to know if there is a better career trajectory in portfolio management given it’s a middle office role, while my current role is client facing. I’d be getting a pretty nice pay bump but not sure if im stunting my growth if I were to make this move
