I have been trying to lateral out to a top BB, MM, or EB the past 3 months. Have only gotten 2 interviews but got turned down by both. Feeling super discouraged right now. I would like to lateral before summer but it's not looking to good as I never hear back from most firms. Unsure of what to do right now. How long does it usually take to hear back once you apply?

what size bank are you lateraling from? are you using headhunters, applying online, networking? i had a friend who recently lateraled
what are you doing to lateral? networking, head hunter or online job applicatons? my friend recently lateraled
Lateraling from a foreign bank - mizuho, bmo, etc. Using Selby Jennings (have not had much luck with them) and applying online. For positions where I have a connect I would reach out to them.
