Feels good

I struggled a lot with money in college, especially during my senior year during covid. Started working odd jobs so I could enjoy the last year of school with my friends.

Also struggled a lot during recruiting. Came a little late to the game, but worked my ass off, had a high GPA, and networked like you wouldn’t believe. Got rejected from every SA application and FT application up until landing my current job a week before graduating.

Just had to share that looking at the first paycheck and signing bonus come in…. It feels really good. All the frustration was worth it. If you’re struggling with recruiting, just know that you’ll land something. And even if the comp is less than your peers, it still feels good.
