FIG CB to FIG IB
Anyone make the transition or know of groups on the street that look favorably on folks from FIG CB for transition? Looking for some color on what the move looks like. Thanks in advance to all.

Prospect in IB - Gen, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Sometimes bots are smarter than humans anyways:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I know many people who have made the jump. Now the only hurdle you have to overcome is "modeling" which can be learned on your own especially since you probably have more FIG knowledge than most people (unless your competition is already in FIG IB). Another thing to mention is if you're at a solid bank for CB that goes a long way. Do you have a specific sub-vertical that you want to join in FIG?
Currently working as a generalist within FIG, so covering a few verticals. Not sure about joining depositories or insurance IB based on what I've read on, so most likely fintech or asset managers related. Have some modeling experience from college and student investment teams but nothing at work currently.
yea stay away from depositories especially
