Final year doing SA
Quick background: I’ve accepted an SA position for this summer as a final year BSc student in the UK. Originally when applying I said I was going to be doing a MiF. Unfortunately didn’t get accepted to the program I was targeting and I don’t really feel like doing any others.
How should I proceed?
Do I contact HR and let them know to see what my options are or should I approach it in a different way.
I have seen a couple of final year SAs from this bank that didn’t do a MSc and just returned the year after. But not sure if this is common.
What bank you will be interning at is helpful background.
Have you got any info for DB? I heard they’re pretty strict on this
Very much depends on the bank. I know friends who did the same thing for MM banks
Really depends on the bank.
Does anyone know for Citi?
Citi deffo allows final years, will be heading there
Are u gonna do a masters or just chill and go back the year after?
bump
Which MiF program? What are the other options may not be as bad as you think
Honestly think you prob don’t mention this and just get the return offer. Don’t think they really check every hires precise background as long as you pass the background check
how did you indicate that you were applying for masters on your cv?
