A boutique IB internship I'm doing sponsors the series 79 and pays for the SIE. Is having the series 79 impressive/worth it to have already when doing SA recruiting for IB, or is it a waste of time?

I know, just would be super time consuming I guess when i could be studying for interview technicals.
recent FT start, i take the 79 next week. pretty much all the technicals i had were contained in the 79, some of it is oversimplified though for the purpose of the exam. definitely prioritize interview prep but if you can lock down this exam before starting FT you will make your senior summer and transition into IB much more enjoyable
Nice, good luck. Do you have a good source to study for it? I used a pdf of Kaplan guide for SIE, but I dont have one for the 79
Yeah it doesnt hurt but also its not expected imo. I used knopman marks w my firm n it worked great!
no one cares. Anyone looking through a resume book looks at prior experience, grades, school and extra curriculars. Maybe interests if we're bored.
Everything else is a non-factor / no one will even notice.
