Follow Up Email or No?

Last week I received an email asking for a video interview for a summer internship. It seemed quite late in the season, but I replied very soon after with my availability and the other info they requested. It’s been over 5 days and I’ve heard nothing from them and am wondering if it’s a good idea to send another email following up or to let it go. The only reason I ask is because the same thing happened to me last fall with a different firm that sent an email requesting an interview and then ignored the two follow ups I sent, until I heard back from the recruiter a month later that they actually didn’t need more candidates or some bs like that. Thanks!
