Follow up on referral?
Spoke with an alum of my school who's very senior at his firm. On the call, said he'd refer my resume for his firm's full time program. He didn't respond to my thank you email after the call where I said I'd love to take him up on his offer.
Obviously, he probably referred me and just didn't respond to me. But what if he forgot? Would it be rude to follow up in a week?
Normally I wouldn't care that much, but this is a dream job for me (top 3 shop in its industry, could see myself spending my entire career there, VERY hard to get in at any point due to very low employee turnover) so I want to get it right. Thanks!
