Follow ups - Internships/Jobs

Hi,

I was wondering whether BB recruiters (or any major financial firms) value follow ups?

After video interviews/ACs and its been a month since completing a interview... Do they find follow ups annoying or a unique step from the candidate showing that the student wants to work there and willing to take the steps too?

Also, for internship, opinions on messaging campus recruiters on linkedin post interview as a follow up?
