Why the fuck would they invite you to a superday if they weren't considering giving you an offer?
The general rule is that the further you are in the interview process, the less important your GPA is - but yes, you may need to work a little harder to beat the other kids if you have a 3.4 vs their 3.8s.
Once you get the interview, it's all up to you. You'd be surprised how little they actually care about your background/resume.
You'll see tons of posts on here along the lines of "I got an SA or FT with a 2.9 GPA". You'll also see a bunch of posts on here along the lines of "bad/iffy interview, what do I do" accompanied by a 3.5+ GPA.
If you make it to the interview rounds, you have to kill them. They have to want to work with you and believe you can handle the work.
Having a great GPA means very little once you get to the interview. If you get the interview then they think that you're smart enough anyway, so it's more about fit or technical knowledge from there on out.
