For those in IBD: How IBD Changes Us...

There was a point in my life when I wasn't like this, but life as a monkey has made me completely intolerant of:

A) Misspelled words in emails, etc. B) When sh*t isn't justified in Word. C) When things aren't formatted correctly and look like crap.

For instance, random people on this forum message me asking for "advice", but when they misspell words and their grammar is completely in the sh*thole, that pisses me off.

Thanks IBD.

LB I think the things you mentioned is something you get, no matter what career you get into.

I've developed a razor-sharp eye for typos and formatting, as mentioned above.

Tried to help my little sister out with her resume earlier this year and she essentially gave up, exasperated, after my first mark-up. She's not going anywhere near IB though, so it may not matter.

I've also been able to condense an explanation of my job into about 20 words or fewer. That took a while to hone.... Helps out when you're in a loud bar, for instance.

Baby I'm an Investment Banker, I make 100K per year...HAVE SEX WITH ME!

Life probably sucks like that since you're having a hard time taking it easy out of office (whenever you are out of office that is).

100K would work anywhere except <abbr title="New York City

">NYC and Cali...and possibly Miami...everywhere else you'll have a line of dimes to pick from
