For Those Waiting for FT Offer Decision -- Check in With Anyone at Bank?
As you wait for your FT decision after your SA stint, are any of you reaching out to your contacts at the bank to get a feel for whether you should be worried or not? Doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with doing this if they are going to give you an offer. And wouldn't you want to know or get a head start if things aren't looking good, so you can start looking elsewhere for a FT place?

I mean, it sounds like you're looking for reassurance to pester HR but imo you might as well jerk off and wait it out. If you don't get it you're not any less fucked knowing now as opposed to a few days/week from now. Also I'd rather hear it from the horse's mouth than accidentally get the wrong impression from an analyst and do some stupid shit.
I left with good feedback and am waiting to hear back tomorrow or Friday. I think pestering them wouldn't change the outcome but potentially annoy them.
