Foregrounding past IB experience on CV

I had previous IB internship experience in Africa before gaining a master's admission into a non-target UK school. In formatting my CV for London applications, is it safe to place the experience section at the top above the education section so that my IB experience would be the first thing seen before my non-target education below? Is there any chance that deviating from the conventional practice of placing the education section at the top (before other sections) would be detrimental to my chances of getting an interview?
I am worried because I have heard HR people often discard/filter-out CVs from low-tier schools (irrespective of experience) so that a banker never gets to review non-target CVs in the first place.
