Career Resources
Go to the company's LinkedIn page and click on the list of employees and filter it down to whatever city you interviewed in. Type the position in the search bar and your interviewer should be in that list (assuming he has a LinkedIn)
Yikes that is tough. I definitely wouldn’t have remembered had they not given me their cards, so the Webex format makes it really tough.
I would email HR / whoever arranged the superday and ask them if they can share with you the list of your interviewers so that you can send thank you notes or something to that effect, probably your best bet. I would imagine this is tough for everyone given the virtual format, so wouldn’t stress about it.
If there is a person you know well who works at the firm, you could potentially reach out to them to see if they can check in
Do you really think thank you notes are necessary ? I got offers without sending a single thank you note
My 2 cents on this:
The reality is that at least for BB internship recruiting, the decision / rankings are made by interviewers the same day, immediately after the interviews are completed. So by the time you send a thank you note later that day, your fate is already sealed. Due to this all being virtual, it’s possible that this year it would be different.
With that being said, it is a good habit to get into in general and as you start out your career. It can almost never hurt and there is always a chance it might help / be particularly appreciated by the interviewer. If they interviewed a number of people that same day, it may remind them of you and help you stand out, hard to say. If you don’t get a response I would not worry about it or read into what it means. Basically, send thank you notes, no downside, potential upside, and just a good and courteous thing to do.
Well the downside is if you send a bad one or appear as fake
Ive never sent a thank you note for offers I've received. The offers have been on the same day though
