Ended up in distressed PE, likely will be exiting soon. Background: RX, but on the advisory / consulting side.

Most likely either starting my own restructuring & turnaround consultancy or going back into the restructuring consulting industry and making partner / MD. Haven't ruled out executive level positions at a corporation either.

It is, until you start living it in real life. For me personally, multiple issues including virtually no chance of making partner at well known distressed PE firms, and a lot of BS work which results in pulling long hours for really no good outcome. Going back to where I came from makes the most sense for me.
