Freshman First Semester GPA

I will likely be ending my first year semester at a 3.6 or 3.5 GPA. In context, I go to a Texas private school majoring in Finance with a reputable b-program. Will this GPA end up hurting me when I start going for internships for my sophomore summer?

if u cant change the past, why stress? some rando on this forum saying “yes ur fucked” or “no ur fine” isnt gonna make the slightest impact on ur recruiting. best thing u can do is try to get ur marks up and go from there. question should be “what should i do” not “am i fucked”

i might not be the best person to answer this q but from experience, nothing in recruiting (and frankly life) is end all be all. always ways around it - even a shitty gpa
