Freshmen at Stanford, Internships for next summer
Hi! I'm a freshmen at Stanford (ignore my username lol), and I'm interested in either CS or finance or the startup scene, with a bit more of a preference to startups/VC stuff. I'm wondering what WSO thought with regards to what I could do next summer. There's a few interesting freshmen programs at Citi/ Jp Morgan I believe, but I would also definitely love to intern at a startup, improve my CS skills and learn more about how to build a company. I'd also definitely be interested in a fintech/blockchain/ real estate related company.
Thoughts/ advice on this? And if you know of any interesting programs, I'd appreciate it if you could point me towards them. Thanks and have a great day!
Your best bet is to tap into the Stanford network and find an internship that way. Maybe find a search fund from a Stanford MBA focused on an interesting space, or work at a VC firm. Bottom line, you're wasting your time by asking this board for help when you have arguably the best school network one could ask for IMO. Good luck
