Asking for a friend: Chances of lateraling from T2 strategy consulting (think Big 4 adjacent) directly to an investment banking role.
She was a t5 Law School classmate of mine several years ago. She can spin a compelling story, but will a non-MBB lateral have any credibility/appeal?
She has no prior finance experience, and before law school she was a paralegal. She does NOT want to go back to school and get another degree, she is debt-averse and has a kid, so she needs income.
