Front office and back office at tech firm

Can somebody give me an overview of different offices at a typical big tech firm? I understand how banks are organized and was wondering if the similar divisions exist at tech firm.

What is the equivalent of front office at tech firm? Back office?

In Investment banking, there is a hierarchy among front office, middle office, and back office. Is such a hierarchy existed at tech firm?

In investment banking, front office means revenue generating while back office typically entails a support role(i.e. operations, IT, etc). Not too familiar with the landscape of technology firms, but I think it wouldn't be correct segmenting them the same way as IB because while a developer may not contribute to generating revenue directly, they play a more vital role in the firm than i.e. a salesperson.
