FT Recruiting Networking Cooked

I've been trying to network as FT recruiting dawns close, but man, I've been getting 0 responses after so many emails sent out. I'm strategic about sending 1 per day to each bank and rotating across groups I'm interested in, so I'm a bit surprised I haven't gotten any responses after about 3 weeks of pumping out respectable volume.

This isn't meant to be a complaint, since I know a SA is obviously the bottom priority for current analysts who don't even know if their group will be taking on a full-timer. But still, it makes me wonder if it's even worth continuing for no potential gain, so I'm wondering how it's going for others or if FT as a whole is just cooked this time around (to be expected I guess).
