FT Signing Bonus for MM

Title pretty much says it all. Looking for an average signing bonus for FT analysts after completing a SA at the same firm. Also when did you receive said bonus. I've heard its not usually given until April before a June/July start. Any help would be appreciated.

MM got $5k as I joined as analyst, heard BB did $10k, but agree, wouldn't negotiate this.....my MM gave me $30k signing for analyst to associate promotion (same firm), heard some other people got 40k for signing as an associate

Varies by firm/location. Check the WSO database for exact numbers, but my guess is that the average is $10k-ish. The payout structure differs by firm though. Some companies give you a check right when you sign, and others don't disburse the payment till you start working as part of the first check. So, I wouldn't bank on balling out on models & bottles next fall.
